Alden 404 Indy Kudu Heavy Lug Sole Work Boot
Style #404 is Alden's more rugged, heavy duty alternative to the classic #403 Indy Boot. The major differences are the #404 features dark brown Kudu leather, tonal stitching and full lug sole. The Kudu leather has a high oil and wax content requiring little maintenance while being very weather resistant. The outsole has an aggressive tread pattern intended for more intense work activity. The #404 is like the classic Indy boot in all other features including the True Balance last, classic top stitch detail, supple full glove leather lining, vegetable tanned leather insoles, and speed hooks. This is Alden's most heavy duty work boot and not for the faint of heart - it is made to work for the individual.

The Indy Boot has cult like status in the world of footwear, famous for its career staring in the Indiana Jones series. In spite of its notoriety, it is a well thought out and timeless boot that will give many years of good service.
High comfort and long wear is achieved through the break-in process which will take on the contours of the foot giving an individual quality to the fit. Beneath the insole is a layer of cork, providing additional comfort and insulation while the tempered steel shank running through the in-step provides firm support. The Alden Trubalance boot is designed to provide excellent support while the classic moc stitch toe offers timeless good looks.
Shipping
All domestic orders for full priced items over $400 have free shipping (free shipping is not offered for sale items) otherwise we typically ship via UPS ground and charge approximately $14-20 for the lower 48 states. Other, quicker shipping options are available for an extra amount. Please contact us at 503.331.0366 for a more exact quote on your preferred shipping option. Your UPS tracking number will be emailed to you once your purchase is shipped. If you decide to return your purchase and did not pay a shipping fee, you will be credited your purchase less the cost to ship the goods to you.
We also ship internationally and typically use the US Postal Service. The shipping charge is approximately $85 per shipment depending on destination, size and weight. Your shipment will be insured and include a tracking number that will be emailed to you. You will be responsible for paying your country's specific taxes, duties, and tariffs that may be associated with your purchase.
