For most heritage denim brands, including Fullcount, Levis is THE inspiration for many styles and cuts. This jacket is modeled after the highly rare and coveted Levis Type 2, which was in production from 1952 to 1963. Fullcount has create a faithful reproduction of this jacket, but with its own signature hardware and branding. It is woven from a 100% organic long staple cotton handpicked in Zimbabwe. This cotton and resulting fabric is made exclusively for Fullcount. Because it is a long staple cotton, it is much softer than other selvedge denim of similar weight and has a very quick and painless break in. This jacket has received the "More Than Real" treatment, meaning it has been hand washed and distressed to look like its been worn for 50 years. This is not your standard light wash jean jacket.
